Riviera 20pc. 18/0 Stainless Flatware Set

I purchased this set for my son who moved to an apartment. The pieces are large and heavy duty (which is perfect for him). I am hoping the 18/10 will ensure durability. This set is far better than the cheap quality sets I saw at retail stores, and at very reasonable price.

this silverware is attractive and very functional. if you need a fork you get a solid utensil. the appearance has a sleek look, and the silverware is heavier and slightly larger than other silverware i've had. i would recommend this product to friends on the the basis of look, durability, and price.

This set is really solid stainless steel and will last basically forever ; pieces are large and the design simple which reminds me of the Early American utensils used in the taverns at Colonial Williamsburg.

We are very pleased with this set. The price was great- especially when considering other 18/10 sets in local stores. This set is MUCH heavier and nicer than others I've seen. I had bought a few sets before from stores and ended up returning them because they weren't sturdy enough. But when we opened this set we knew it was a keeper. We've had it about a month and they look as good as new even through many washes through the dishwasher.

I wanted the durability of 18/10 stainless without a big price for flatware I was buying for use in a motorhome. Overstock was the best option for such a purchase. And this was the pattern that most appealed to me among the 20 pc sets available for under $40. Yes - these are BIG pieces: the forks and knives are definitely dinner size (which the man in the motorhome really likes) while the salad (?) fork appears to be luncheon size. So, if you prefer luncheon size flatware (as I do) don't get this set. Otherwise, the pieces have a nice heft and balance, wash well, etc. The pattern is smoother/not as dimensional or "puffy" as the on-line photo led me to believe, but that's just fine with me.
