French White Corningware 12-piece Bakeware Set

It was extremely disappointing to me when I received this set which in essence was 2 (inexpensive) measuring spoon sets--they looked like they came from a toy store--not sturdy at all--and cheaply made. They counted a cover as a part so I received a 7-1/2 white round bottom with a plastic cover, a very thin 5-page recipe book (which counted as one of the 12 pieces) and foursmaller round and/or oblong containers that won't hold much--. For what I paid, I thought it was not worth the money.......I wanted to use these as oven to table serving pieces for company but only one would be large enough to serve 4 people.

While the set itself is very nice, the description of the product is somewhat misleading. In fact, I was a little embarrassed when my son called to thank me for the 12 piece set only to say he was wondering if the box it came in counted towards the 12 pieces. So what counted towards the 12 pieces? Actually 2 dishes, 2 lids, measuring spoons & the ring to hold the spoons!! Kind of cheesy!
