Blue Mystic Duplex 20-piece Flatware Set

Really nice flatware set. The handles are a pretty blue & slightly translucent. They all sit in a bright, shiny metal basket on my counter, which is so great having them at our fingertips, rather than digging around in a drawer. I am completely happy with this set & I do recommend them.

If you are buying this set i do not recommend washing it in the dishwasher! I only use a dishwasher and after only 5 months they were all falling apart. The metal piece between the utensil end and the handle came loose and rusted on pretty much all of the pieces. The blue color started to fade and looked really dingy and scratched up. A few of the fork heads fell off so i'd have to keep sticking them back in. It's an okay set if you only intend to use them once in a while, like for outdoor picnics, and only if you hand wash them. I really wouldn't recommend them for daily use though. This set is extremely cheap and will fall apart quickly, but hey you get what you pay for.

I like the flatware, but I would have liked the holder to be flat on the botton so that I could use the caddy without having the flatware standing up, i.e., forks, knifes as they can hurt as you go to take one out. I am not using the caddy and have put the flatware in a silverware drawer.

This set is exactly what I was looking for at the time. Great for everyday use. The container has a handle, so that one can move the entire set from the kitchen to the dining room table with ease. The blue handles are translucent, which adds to its appeal. The price cannot be beat. Not to mention that it arrived within four days!

It's only if you didn't really have the money, this is a good temporary set to have just until you can purchase a nicer set. I made the mistake of purchasing this set thinking it would last me at least two years or so, and so I bought two. It's been two years and I've gone through both sets, the first set didn't last me six months, and now I'm using a few from one and a few from the second set. Now, I'm shopping for a better set that I will get to keep a lot longer. It's a GREAT set to take with you to College, especially when you can't afford anything else.
