Stanley Roberts Siena 18/10 Stainless Steel 20-piece Flatware Set

I bought two sets and am very happy with them. This is a great value for the money. I have put them through the dishwasher many times without any rust. The pattern is a contemporary look, a change for me. I must say, however, that if your taste leans toward small demure pieces, then you may not be happy with these. They are very large--the salad fork is as large as the regular fork in my previous set. The only down side to these is that there are no companion pieces.

This set was attractive and solid, but - after about a month, several of the knives developed rust. No rust on any of the other pieces, but still...I had to return them. Got another set and the same thing happened.

I bought a set of Stanley Roberts flatware 30 years ago for my first apartment. I just lucked out, not knowing anything about flatware - I am still using it today and it is so superior to anything else I have seen. When I wanted to increase my place settings I naturally sought out more Stanley Roberts and I am not disappointed! Believe me, you could select any of the patterns from this manufacturer and you will be more than happy. I love the Siena for the holidays, but it was a hard choice from the other Stanley Roberts selections!
