Noritake Purple Colorwave 16-piece Dinnerware Set

My husband and I agreed on these plates so I ordered them. The color "purple" does not do them justice. They have a matte finish and go with dishes I have used for years with a fruit design on them. Most any pattern with fruit will have this color "purple" on them somewhere, in grapes, plums, etc. The shape is good, they fit well in both the cabinet and the dishwasher, and set a pretty table. The only drawback I've seen so far is that they mar rather easily, probably because of the matte finish and because the color does not go all the way through. That said, we enjoy using them every day, and I am even looking for complementary colors in the same pattern to order. Would recommend to anyone.
