Reed & Barton Bellevue Matte 44-piece Flatware Set

Gave this as a Mother's Day gift. She loved them and they looked better in person than in the picture.

My wife and I have owned our flatware set for a few weeks now. I'm very impressed with how well they work. The forks can really hold onto your food when you stab it. I am no longer finding pieces of steak in my lap when leaving the table. They are also very sturdy, I have yet to break off a prong of the fork like my previous set. The spoons are wonderful too, they are so shiney. I'm still amazed at how clearly I can see myself upside down when gazing into my spoon. If you use a steady hand... you will hardly spill any food as you bring it up to your pie hole. The knives spread butter like nobodys business! You can easily spread a thin layer of butter on your toast with out bending the knife. Overall we are very happy with our purchase and it was delivered really really really super fast. GOOD BYE TO OUR OLD PLASTIC SET.

Stainless is much nicer than I expected. The matte finsh coordinates with stainless elsewhere in kitchen so that it looks great with all types of dinnerware. Love it!

I checked over each individual box to make sure the placesettings were correct after having gotten a set from another manufacturer where there were extra forks and fewer teaspoons. This set was perfect except for one fork where a tine was slightly off balance from the other tines. I am going on the dependablity of the Reed and Barton reputation, my own experience with silverware from the company, and their lifetime warranty as to the durability. I hope my children enjoy using it since it was a gift.

This was the best value i have found in years - very durable, heavy and a very simple pattern - i purchased this for everyday flatware and it is perfect for what i wanted. It arrived fairly quickly and everything was in tact and wrapped properly. the whole transaction went very well.
