Commenting on the durability is impossible at this time. We live in a salt-water environment and only time will tell how durable these aluminum frames are. They look good now, though.

I was rather leary purchasing lights for the outside of our home without seeing them in person. When they arrived, I was thrilled. They are very nice, durable and give off allot of light. I looked at several home stores trying to find something like these so when I saw them on overstock for half the price " I ordered". They look fabulous, on the house, and match the glass in the front door perfectly.
