I had been looking for plates for some time and when I found these they looked perfect. The design on the plates does not resemble the flower that is pictured. It is more like petals on a stem, not the perfect flower that is shown, in saying that though they are still very pretty and I have gotten lots of compliments on them so far. Pair them with a moss or lime green solid plate and they look quite impressive. I have only had them a few weeks so durability hasn't been a factor yet, although my four year old knocked a ball into the sink and nailed one of the plates and it did not chip.

I bought these for my daughter and son-in-law's wedding anniversery. The plates are very heavy and oversized. The green glaze over black ceramic is very striking. gives it almost a 3-d look.

Pretty and durable. They are a lovely addition to my dinner tabel!

They look really good, but they are very fragile. I expect everyday dishes to be a little stronger than china!! I did have one break in the mail, but Overstock sent me a new one immediatly!! Too bad they won't replace the ones I break!! Overstock is awesome!
