I was looking for a bright pattern to help stimulate and keep my wonderful ninety year old MUM interested at mealtimes. It sets such a pretty table,I bought three sets! Itis very durable especially with all the grandchildren over. I JUST LOVE IT!!

I LOVED THESE DISHES WHEN I SAW THEM ON OVERSTOCK, BUT THEY DON'T GIVE MEASUREMENTS FOR THIS DINNERWARE, AND THE PICTURE THEY SHOW DOES NOT CLEARLY SHOW HOW DEEP THE BOWLS ARE, SO I TOOK A CHANCE HOPING THE BOWLS WOULD BE OK. I JUST SIGHED WHEN I PULLED ONE OF THE BOWLS OUT OF THE BOX AND IT WAS SO SHALLOW THAT I DON'T KNOW WHY THEY EVEN BOTHERED TO MAKE THEM! IT MAY AS WELL BE A PLATE! THIS IS THE ONLY PROBLEM I HAVE WITH THEM. IT'S SUCH A SHAME BECAUSE THE BOWLS TRULY ARE USELESS. THEY WILL WORK FOR A VERRRY SMALL SALAD OR A COUPLE SMALL SCOOPS OF ICE CREAM, BUT FORGET SOUP OR CEREAL FOR SURE! LUCKILY, I HAVE DEEP BLACK BOWLS FROM MY PREVIOUS SET OF DISHES THAT I CAN USE WITH THIS SET, BUT I AM VERY DISSAPOINTED WITH THE BOWLS! WHAT A WASTE!!!!!

Having 3 kids it seems I go through many dishes. So far these dishes have held up and do not have any chips they have survived the not so gentle handling of going from the dish washer and being put away by not so careful kids. The colors are great- The bowls that come with this set are not very deep. They are still a very nice set of dishes.
